Since the weather has been very strange this year, it is as if spring had last one single day and we passed from cold winter straight to summer. This wonderful weather is all here to be enjoyed and this is what we mean to do here at Piano b!
This sudden switch from cold to hot season has had its effects on our activities as well, and since days seem longer, there are many new things to do here at our farm. Many things, in fact, have happened and many more things are going to happen. We planted our fields in an experimental way, which is based on making plants grow in order to create a mutual help between them; we also hosted a group of disabled young people and we spent one day together showing them how our farm works.
Many activities will be held at Piano b in the next weeks: in the next weekend we will be hosting an association called Cauto, which will entertain us with its activities, while among our workshops we remind you of the sewing course which is starting on 28th April and will last for five lessons.
Since our farm is based on permaculture, we are organizing a course of 72 hours together with the Italian Association for Permaculture. During the course we will be teaching the main techniques referring to this kind of farming. The course will last almost two weeks, that is from 14th to 26th June. Thanks to the course we will also have the chance to learn the principles of simplicity and respect for nature that lie behind the concept of permaculture. Information about teachers, costs and further details about the course will be given soon.
